6.8L 2V DEVCT NA PFI Gas V8
A reliable workhorse with the Built Ford Tough® pedigree, the 6.8L gas V8 offers 405 horsepower and 445 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s engineered to deliver peak torque at lower RPM and generates high torque throughout the midrange of the power band. Plus, the 6.8L is teamed up with the powerfully built TorqShift.
7.3L OHV PFI Gas V8
Design a gas-powered V8 for strenuous duty, hauling heavy loads, with commercial-grade durability and performance, and you get the available port fuel-injected 7.3L V8 rated at 430 hp and 485 lb.-ft. of torque. This V8 optimizes low-end torque, and the variable-cam timing helps to optimize high-output power. For the durability also required, the 7.3L features a cast-iron block with four-bolt and cross-bolted main bearings plus a forged-steel crankshaft.
6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel
The available 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel engine has a 36,000-psi fuel-injection system. It also features forged-steel pistons, which make 475 hp at 2,600 rpm and available 1,050 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,600 rpm. Finally, the engine features an electric-actuated variable-geometry turbocharger that improves throttle response.
6.7L High Output Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel
There’s no mistaking the sound of turbo performance. It comes at the drop of the pedal from the available 6.7L High Output Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel engine as it produces a massive 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb.-ft of torque.
TorqShift® 10-Speed Automatic Transmission
TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmissions offer enhanced low and midrange and three overdrive gears for optimum towing power and performance. You also get to choose from five selectable modes — Normal, Slippery, Tow/Haul, Eco, and Deep Sand/Snow. The available TREMOR® Off-Road Package has an additional Rock Crawl mode.
Diesel Engine Exhaust Braking
The 6.7L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel engine incorporates a driver-activated engine exhaust brake that restricts the turbocharger’s exhaust flow to generate back pressure to help slow the vehicle. In turn, providing confidence while traveling downhill, regardless of vehicle load or road grade. Also, because the engine brake helps minimize having to apply pedal pressure, brake wear is reduced for longer durability.
Power Take-Off Torque (PTO)
With a PTO diesel torque of 300 lb.-ft., the Super Duty® PTO provision offers more power for upfits just when you need it. For added strength, the 10-bolt mounting pattern provides a more secure mount for larger PTO devices.

TREMOR® Off-Road Package
Powered by an earth-rattling available 6.7L High-Output Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel engine or the mighty 7.3L OHV V8 gas engine and stabilized with 35-inch all-terrain tires and off-road tuned front and rear suspension (including 1.7-inch twin-tube dampers). All-terrain handling features like selectable Rock Crawl and Trail Control™ modes give the F-150® TREMOR® the means to conquer wherever the trail takes you.
FX4 Off-Road Package
More at home on a two-track than a four-lane highway. The FX4 Off-Road Package offers specially tuned off-road front and rear shocks, skid plates to protect the fuel tank and transfer case, Hill Descent Control™ and unique FX4 Off-Road bodyside decals.
XL Off-Road Package
Ruggedly capable on the road and even more rugged off it. Large 33-inch off-road tires mounted to 17-inch argent painted steel wheels, rear electronic locking differential, and steel skid plates give XL the advantage when traversing untamed terrain. Water fording vent tubes deliver confidence if your path turns to liquid.
Fully-Boxed High-Strength Steel Frame
The fully-boxed frame is reinforced with up to 10 cross-members which allows it to hold up to extreme weight. The frame is designed to minimize flexing and twisting while maximizing strength and torsional rigidity for long-term durability and serves as the foundation for its impressive towing and hauling capability.
