Suspension of Disbelief
Multimatic DSSV (Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve) technology... in a production car? Believe it. A state-of-the-art suspension system underpins the Mustang® GTD. An advanced rear suspension and adaptive suspension dampers provide a precise response to road conditions. On course days, Track Mode lowers the ride height by 40mm — providing improved aerodynamics and handling — at the push of a button.
The Science of Speed
Every component and system within the 2025 Mustang® GTD is designed to reduce weight, enhance handling, and increase speed. Available forged magnesium wheels provide an excellent strength-to-weight ratio that’s ideal for the demands of racing. The standard carbon fiber body panels, driveshaft, and available underbody aerodynamic tray help reduce weight and improve performance. While the featherlight, titanium exhaust adds dynamic style while projecting the growl of the supercharged 5.2L Predator-based V8 engine.

Inspired by the track-only Mustang® GT3 race car, the Mustang GTD is purposefully designed to be the quickest roadgoing Mustang ever.
Supercharged 5.2L V8
The Ford Performance-engineered 5.2L V8 engine with 8-speed dual-clutch transmission is tuned to target more than 800 horsepower — that's ready to conquer the streets and the track.
Near 50/50 Weight Balance
All the Mustang® GTD power is transmitted through a lightweight carbon fiber driveshaft connected to an 8-speed rear transaxle, for near 50/50 weight distribution. This results in extremely responsive handling and performance — with a target of clearing the Nürburgring's 73 turns and corners in less than 7 minutes.

Dry Sump Oil System
Confidently take on tight corners and banked racecourse turns with the first dry sump oil system ever fitted to a roadgoing Mustang model. It provides increased oil capacity and reliability while helping reduce oil starvation under high G-force loads — giving you more performance at every turn.

Cooling Multi-Purpose Front Fender Vents
Beyond adding eye-catching style, the standard front fender vents help keep the brakes cool. At the same time, they reduce lift and drag by releasing built-up air pressure from inside the wheel arches.
Forged Carbon Ceramic Brakes
Stop with authority around town — and at the track — with standard front six-piston Brembo™ anti-lock brakes. They’re combined with enormous 325 mm front and 345 mm rear Michelin® Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires for race-ready capability and standout looks.
At These Speeds, Even Gravity Needs Help
The standard carbon fiber, C-pillar-mounted aero rear wing provides massive downforce to produce responsive control while driving corner speeds up. Active aerodynamics are also available.
